By Default, Windows 8 Does not allow you to view your control
panel in Category view. This can be annoying for IT professionals and
enthusiasts, who like the traditional Category View of the Microsoft Windows
Control Panel.
Today I’d like to show you, how to change control panel category

Usually when we start the control panel we get something like

The solution to get back the category view, we can use a simple
free program called classic shell this will allow you to view the control panel
category view windows 8.
I have been using classic
shell ever since I installed Windows 8. The reason why, is that like most
people I did not like the change of the user interface. With the start
menu gone also, classic shell makes it easier to tweak windows the way that You
want it.
